Label each tube with the tube socket number (V1 - V16) that it resides in. I used a a black Sharpie felt pen just like they do at the ARC factory. This will make it easier to place the tubes back in their proper sockets if you should ever need to remove the tubes (when shipping the amp, for example). I also dimmed the lights and took a quick look at the tubes inside before fastening the 60 screws for each panel. None of the plates were glowing cherry red which is a good sign!
